Arsenal are obviously chasing a new left winger this summer and with Leandro Trossard set to sign for Besiktas, it’s now clear that’s the position the club are targeting.
Trossard’s move to Turkey, in addition to uncertainty over Gabriel Martinelli’s future, means Arsenal fans can expect to see at least one new face down the left next season.
As we know, Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers is a long-term target for Mikel Arteta. Villa value the England man at around £130m, meaning any deal would be a new record transfer for the Gunners.
Alongside Rogers, France and PSG sensation Bradley Barcola has also had more than one mention.
Indeed, according to the respected Arsenal ITK account ‘HandOfArsenal’, both Barcola and Rogers would join the club.
🤔 PICK ONE: Would you rather Arsenal signed Bradley Barcola or Morgan Rogers this summer?
Bradley Barcola and Morgan Rogers are both open to Arsenal move
It’s an exciting time to be an Arsenal fan at the moment. Yes, across North London it is Tottenham who are making big moves but Arsenal do have the funds to add quality this summer as well.
Now, according to HandOfArsenal, the Gunners are preparing files on both Rogers and Barcola.
And crucially, both players are keen on the move.
The notion of Barcola being keen on the move is fresh news for Arsenal fans and in reality, something to be excited about.
Like so many in this France squad over in the World Cup, Barcola has been exciting to watch.
Furthermore, Arsenal fans – and indeed the back four – got a taste of what Barcola is all about during the Champions League final.

Barcola’s electric pace, ability to create from nothing and clear will to make himself a starter for France and whichever club he plays for, show a mentality that Mikel Arteta will admire.
With both Barcola and Rogers apparently keen, it does beg the question if Arsenal could somehow sign both players.
If that was to happen, then title number two would surely be in the bag before a ball has even been kicked.
