It’s going to be another busy summer transfer window for Arsenal.
Indeed, after ending their 22 year wait to become Premier League champions, Mikel Arteta’s side aren’t going to rest on their laurels.
The Gunners are looking to strengthen even further, and their main point of turnover may well be in the attack.
Arsenal want a new striker – Julian Alvarez has been linked, while they’re also looking to strengthen on the wings.
Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli could be set to leave, while new wingers have been targeted.
However, one rumour that has cropped up will surely leave Martinelli in a foul mood.

Gabriel Martinelli will be incensed by Savinho to Arsenal rumours
It has been reported that Arsenal are looking at signing Savinho from Manchester City.
There’s plenty to say about that potential transfer, and one man who won’t be impressed by this move is Gabriel Martinelli.
Martinelli himself would probably concede that he hasn’t been good enough for Arsenal lately he scored just one league goal last season and got four assists.
However, that’s still better than Savinho, who got one league goal and just one assist.
It would be a massive kick in the teeth for Martinelli if Arsenal were to replace him with a player who has worse output over the past 12 months.
On top of that, it would also do his international hopes no favours, as Savinho is also a Brazilian vying for a spot in Carlo Ancelotti’s side.
Martinelli could probably forgive being replaced by a player like Bradley Barcola or Khvicha Kvaratskhelia – both of whom have been linked to Arsenal, but if his time at the Emirates is ended by Savinho, he’d have every right to feel sour.
It remains to be seen if Arsenal do move for Savinho, but, if they do, Martinelli would have every reason to be annoyed.
