Arsenal begin their 2024/25 Premier League season with a game against Wolves at the Emirates.

The Gunners have finished as the runners-up in each of the last two seasons. Many Arsenal fans are predicting they will finish first this time, and they have a huge chance.

Mikel Arteta has made his side stronger with the addition of Riccardo Calafiori, and the experience of last year should help the players as well.

Against Wolves on Saturday, Arteta will want nothing but a win, and we’re sure he would love to see his players a number of goals too.

Bukayo Saka and Ben White think Kai Havertz will score Arsenal’s first goal vs Wolves

Arsenal have a number of players who are capable of scoring goals.

Bukayo Saka was their top scorer in the 2023/24 season, while Gabriel Martinelli, Gabriel Jesus, Kai Havertz, Leandro Trossard and Martin Odegaard are all proven scorers too.

Arsenal don’t have a prolific striker who will guarantee 25 goals a season like Erling Haaland up top.

That’s why all of their attackers have to chip in with goals, and they have been doing so under Arteta over the last two seasons.

Now, a new campaign is upon us, and Arsenal fans are all hoping to see multiple goals in every single game they play.

Wolves are not an easy team to play against, but Arsenal will go into the game as favourites on Saturday, and some of their players have predicted who will score the first goal.

Saka, Fabio Vieira and Ben White have all backed Havertz to open the scoring against Wolves at the Emirates on Saturday.

Kai Havertz has one thing left to prove at Arsenal

Havertz had an interesting debut season at Arsenal.

The German took a few months to settle in and that led to a lot of criticism early on in the season. Many people, including Graeme Souness, had a go at Arteta for signing Havertz.

However, the former Chelsea man won every Arsenal fan’s heart by having a phenomenal second half of the campaign. He finished the season with 14 goals and seven assists, which is very impressive.

Despite his brilliant performances up front, many people like Alan Shearer urged Arteta to sign a new striker this summer. They all wanted a prolific goalscorer because they didn’t believe Havertz could do what’s needed to win the Premier League for Arsenal.

That’s the one thing Havertz has left to prove – that he is good enough to start up top and lead Arsenal to the title this season.
