Bukayo Saka is back to his best, and delivered yet another excellent performance in Arsenal’s victory over Burnley.
Arsenal ran out 5-0 winners at Turf Moor to make it five wins in a row to start the calendar year for the first time.
Martin Odegaard opened the scoring before Saka struck either side of half-time, with Leandro Trossard and Kai Havertz helping secure a stylish victory.
Saka’s two goals came through a penalty after Trossard was brought down, and a powerful finish after an outstanding pass from Odegaard, and the pair were the two best players on the pitch.
Bukayo Saka sets personal Arsenal record
Saka’s strike against Burnley was his fourth in just two games, and his sixth in the last four games after scoring against Nottingham Forest and Liverpool.
This has meant that, for the first time in his career, he has scored in four consecutive Premier League games.
“Bukayo Saka has scored in four consecutive Premier League appearances for the first time in his career,” stat analyst Harvey Downes posted on X.
Bukayo Saka’s outstanding output

Saka’s output has hit a new level this season, with 15 goals and 13 assists in 32 appearances across all competitions, and he has already surpassed his entire goal and assist tally from last season.
The England star hit 15 goals and 11 assists in 48 games last season, and has surpassed that with 16 games to spare.
In the Premier League alone, he has managed 12 goals and eight assists in 20 appearances, and he is helping Arsenal challenge for the title as their top scorer in the competition.
Whilst four of his strikes have come from the penalty spot, he is still producing at a level that only Mohamed Salah can match in terms of Premier League wingers.
Saka’s Champions League output is joint-top with some of the best players in Europe, and he will hope to overtake the likes of Jude Bellingham as Arsenal face Porto in the round of 16 next week.
The 22-year-old is Arsenal’s talisman and has gone from carrying a struggling mid-table side to leading a title challenge, and he is one of the best players in the Premier League.
Arsenal have an outside chance at the title against Liverpool and Manchester City, but if they do challenge for Premier League glory, it will be because of Saka’s incredible output this season.
