Thierry Henry extended a personal invitation to Bukayo Saka after Arsenal beat PSG.
Bukayo Saka played a key role for Arsenal in their Champions League triumph over PSG on Tuesday night.
With Martin Odegaard injured, the Hale End academy graduate was given the captain’s armband for this fixture. He was then able to mark the occasion with a goal, as his first half free snuck through a crowd of bodies to put Mikel Arteta’s side 2-0 up at the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal fans were delighted with Saka’s performance as he yet again stepped up and made a difference against elite opposition in a big match.
Given the England international is such an important and talismanic figure in North London it can be easy to forget that he is still just 23-years-old. Saka is on his way to becoming an Arsenal legend, and will be desperate to start adding silverware to his CV this season.

Bukayo Saka promises to visit Arsenal icon Thierry Henry
Not only is Saka on his way to becoming an Arsenal legend himself, he is also clearly on good terms with the club’s existing greats.
An interaction between the winger and all-time leading Arsenal goalscorer Thierry Henry gave an insight into the close relationship that the pair share.
Speaking on CBS Sports Golazo after the Gunners’ win over PSG, Henry asked Saka: “When are you coming home?” It seems that with this question, Henry was referring to his own home.
Saka replied: “I’m coming, don’t worry. The schedule has been really busy but I’m going to be there soon, don’t worry.”
Henry then referred to two of his children, adding: “Gabi and Tristan are waiting.”
Saka assured the former striker: “I have his present, don’t worry.”
What Saka means to Arsenal
Saka’s importance to Arsenal extends far beyond what he is able to produce on the pitch.
Having been on the club’s books since the age of seven, he has grown up at Arsenal and feels a profound connection with the club and its supporters. He is beloved in North London, and has clearly earned the affection of Henry too.
If Arsenal go on to achieve their aims for this season, then Saka will have played a huge part in that, as he has already been instrumental in the club’s rise to becoming genuine contenders again.
