Bukayo Saka reaches PL milestone only previously managed by Harry Kane

Arsenal star Bukayo Saka has just reached a Premier League milestone only previously achieved by Harry Kane.

With his assist against Burnley at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday afternoon, Bukayo Saka completed an almost unique Premier League collection. The 22-year-old Hale End academy graduate has now scored or assisted against each of the 24 Premier League clubs he has faced so far in his career.

As reported by talkSPORT, only former Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane can also lay claim to such a 100% record, having made goal contributions against each of the 32 different English top flight outfits he came up against.

Kane established himself as a Premier League icon in his time at Spurs, and Saka may well be on track to reach the same status in the game. He has certainly made an extraordinary start to his senior career.

What has Bukayo Saka achieved so far?

Saka has now made 196 appearances for Arsenal across all competitions, scoring 44 goals and providing 48 assists.

Since making his senior debut for the north London club in November 2018, Saka has established himself as a talismanic figure and firm fan-favourite at the Emirates Stadium under Mikel Arteta. Kolo Toure even believes Saka is good enough to have played for the famous ‘Invincibles’.

He became a first team regular from the 2019/20 season onwards, starting out as a left-back, before migrating across to the right wing.

In October 2020, Saka made his senior international debut. He has now represented England 30 times, scoring 11 goals. He featured in the final of EURO 2020.

In terms of honours, Saka has an FA Cup winners’ medal to his name, and has twice triumphed in the Community Shield. On an individual level, he has been named both England Men’s Player of the Year and Arsenal Player of the Season on two occasions.

Saka will now be determined to add more major honours to his trophy cabinet. In order to do so, he will need to keep having such a devastating impact against Premier League opponents.
