Former Arsenal star Cesc Fabregas is starting to make a name for himself when it comes to his managerial career.

An incredible midfielder during his playing days, the Spaniard has been around the world experiencing plenty at the highest level.

Breaking through at Arsenal under Arsene Wenger, the early years were full of promise for Cesc Fabregas before moves to Barcelona, Chelsea, Monaco, and Como followed.

Hanging up his boots in 2023, the 37-year-old has since taken to coaching and management with his latest club, Como.

Having helped the side earn promotion to Serie A in Italy, Fabregas’s first full official season in charge is drawing to a close in impressive fashion.

With that in mind, some clubs in England are already looking at a possible move for the former Arsenal man.

Ex-Arsenal star Cesc Fabregas linked with Leicester City managerial job

With Como set for Serie A safety in Fabregas’s first full season in charge at the top flight, there is plenty of hope for the future.

The Spaniard has had time to get some experience, which has led to some teams looking at a possible move.

According to TalkSPORT, Fabregas is one of the names being looked at for Leicester City and their role as head coach.

Ruud van Nistelrooy is set to leave the Foxes, following their relegation from the Premier League, as they prepare to push for promotion back from the Championship once again.

It remains to be seen whether Fabregas will be willing to take the job or where his aspirations may lie for the future.

Cesc Fabregas’s managerial career so far

Having come through the ranks as one of the youngest-ever Arsenal players to feature for the club, it is certainly odd to see Fabregas on the touchline instead.

He joins Aaron Ramsey as interim Cardiff City boss, Jack Wilshere as interim Norwich City manager, and more from a generation of recent stars getting into coaching.

Fabregas’s record at Como is good so far, keeping them in Serie A and looking to boost them further up the table.

The former midfielder is starting to develop himself into an option for the future, but it remains to be seen whether he’s willing to make a move so early on.
