Cesc Fabregas has had his say on the one decision Arsenal’s owners took that has changed the club.
Arsenal are one of the best teams in the world today. The Gunners are currently on top of the Premier League table and are just a win away from reaching the semi-final of the Champions League.
This was always the dream for Arsenal fans, but we couldn’t even have thought about this a few years ago, when our club was in a terrible position.
That is all in the past now, and it’s thanks to one man – Mikel Arteta. He has transformed our club.

Arsenal owners made Cesc Fabregas very happy
Arsenal are owned by Stan Kroenke’s KSE. His son, Josh, is heavily involved with the running of our club and has been very active in recent seasons.
Gunners fans haven’t had the greatest relationship with the Kroenkes over the years.
The American was regularly accused of not giving Arsene Wenger the money he needed to help Arsenal return to the very top. Kroenke’s decision to enter the European Super League received serious backlash as well.
The relationship between Arsenal fans and the Kroenkes have improved drastically since. They have made some really good decisions over the years and that has helped us compete to win the Premier League and the Champions League.
One such decision was taken back in the 2021/22 season.
Arsenal had gotten off to a terrible start, losing each of our first three games in the Premier League. Mikel Arteta was under enormous pressure and several people wanted him gone.
KSE, the board and Edu Gaspar, however, put their faith in Arteta and gave him the time he needed. That has changed Arsenal’s fortunes, and Cesc Fabregas has now claimed that the decision made him really happy.
What Cesc Fabregas said about Arsenal’s owners and Mikel Arteta
Cesc Fabregas is aiming to be a manager himself, and when he does get a job, he will surely love to get the support that Mikel Arteta got during his tough times.
The former Arsenal captain heaped praise on Stan Kroenke and everyone else involved in keeping their faith in Arteta when things weren’t great.
He told PA News Agency: “It is all about Edu and the owners giving him the time and the right tools to prove himself. When this happens, the structure, the vision and the trust comes together and things happen.
“That is why I am happy. I always use them as an example, the first two years of Mikel, in any other club or someone else managing the situation could have just got rid of Mikel and said ‘we are moving to another direction’.
“But, they had a clear plan, a clear process, they had the right steps, they invested in young quality players and now you get all the results of these ups and downs of the first two or three years.”
