Clarence Seedorf disagrees with everyone and makes a different Arsenal prediction after PSG 5-4 Bayern

Paris Saint-Germain beat Bayern Munich 5-4 in the first semi-final of this season’s Champions League, a day before Arsenal’s clash against Atletico Madrid.

The two sides believed in their biggest strength, which is their attack, and went for it from the first whistle. That led to a fun game for the neutral to watch.

After looking at their attacking prowess on show, many people, including Jermaine Pennant on X, have claimed that Arsenal don’t stand a chance if they get into the final.

Five-time Champions League winner Clarence Seedorf, however, disagrees.

Simple question: How do Arsenal win the Champions League from here?

Clarence Seedorf backs Arsenal to win the Champions League

Arsenal are set to face Atletico Madrid in the first leg of their semi-final on Wednesday night.

The Gunners have already battered Diego Simeone’s side 4-0 this season, but they cannot get complacent and take them lightly.

Mikel Arteta will have told his players exactly that ahead of what is a massive game for both sides at the Metropolitano.

Everyone is writing off this fixture because they feel the winner of the other semi-final between PSG and Bayern Munich will be the ones winning the Champions League this season.

Seedorf, who knows more about winning this competition than most others, is still fully behind Arsenal.

He said on Prime Video Sport UK after the game in Paris: “Ask the goalkeepers if they are happy. They are not happy!

“The clean sheet was always sacred for goalkeepers, and we’ve seen a team like Arsenal making that difference this year, having so many clean sheets and coming all the way.

“If I have to point out one team that could actually be capable of bringing it home because of that capacity, it’s actually Arsenal.”

Prediction time: What will the score be when Arsenal take on Atletico Madrid in the first-leg?

Arsenal have already shown they can beat all the remaining teams in the Champions League

There is always noise around what Arsenal can and cannot do, and that is the case once again.

Even though the first semi-final was between PSG and Bayern, a lot was being said about Arsenal and how they would get destroyed by either team if they made it to the final.

However, Arsenal have already beaten Bayern Munich this season, while they also beat PSG in the league phase of the Champions League last season.

Having also beaten Atletico Madrid this term, it is not a big surprise to see Seedorf backing the Gunners to go all the way.

Whether they can, however, remains to be seen.
