Arsenal are in a strong position following their first transfer window with Andrea Berta as their sporting director.
Berta was the mastermind behind a number of complicated transfers to leave Mikel Arteta with arguably the strongest squad at his disposal during his reign in North London.
Signings such as Viktor Gyokeres and Eberechi Eze saw Berta play a waiting game that eventually paid off, whilst deadline day capture Piero Hincapie was sealed on a loan-to-buy deal.
It was a far cry from the hesitancy of former transfer chief Edu Gaspar and one Arsenal star is still feeling the effects of the Brazilian’s decision making.

Oleksandr Zinchenko sees new manager at Nottingham Forest before first appearance
Arsenal fans were overjoyed with Gaspar on deadline day as the Nottingham Forest global head of football brought Oleksandr Zinchenko to the City Ground.
Danny Murphy thinks Zinchenko is a ‘clever’ player and that Forest had made a smart acquisition with the Ukrainian international falling out of favour under Arteta.
However, Nottingham Forest have just parted ways with manager Nuno Espirito Santo, meaning that Zinchenko has a new manager before even making an appearance for his new club.

Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou has taken up the vacant managerial hot seat and returns to English football following his summer sacking.
Whether the Australian sees Zinchenko as part of his plans remains to be seen but with a one-year loan deal secured, the Ukrainian will certainly hope so.
Oleksandr Zinchenko and Ange Postecoglou set to face Arsenal on Nottingham Forest debuts
It will be a swift return to the Emirates Stadium for both Zinchenko and Postecoglu as Nottingham Forest travel to Arsenal in their next Premier League clash.
Both sides come into the game off the back of defeats before the international break with the Gunners losing 1-0 at Anfield and Forest being humbled 3-0 at home to West Ham.

Arteta will know that his side cannot afford to drop any more points at this early stage in the title race, however, will be fully aware of the ‘new manager bounce’ that Forest may now pose.
Supporters will be hoping to see the likes of Eze from the start and for the Gunners to get on the front foot early and test the resolve of Postecoglou’s new side.
