The January transfer window is fast approaching, and Arsenal have been linked with moves to sign a few players.
The Gunners had an unprecedented summer transfer window. Andrea Berta completed eight new signings, and all of them have impressed so far.
Arsenal fans aren’t expecting much in January after such a big summer, but if their terrible luck with injuries continues, they could be forced to make a signing or two.
One player who is of interest is Antoine Semenyo of Bournemouth.

Darren Bent compares Arsenal-linked Antoine Semenyo to Gareth Bale
Semenyo is going to be a popular name in the transfer market in 2026.
The Bournemouth attacker has had an excellent start to the new season, and he has a £65 million release clause that can be triggered in January.
Arsenal Insider revealed recently that Semenyo is a player Arsenal are keeping tabs on, and that is the case with a number of other Premier League clubs as well.
Darren Bent has watched a lot of Semenyo at Bournemouth, and the pundit has now compared him to Tottenham Hotspur legend Gareth Bale.
Speaking about the Ghanaian on talkSPORT, he said: “Every game you see him do something and you go, ‘oh my goodness’.
“He’s one of those rare players, I call certain players like this ‘unstoppable’. Bale was like that. When I say unstoppable, I’m talking about their attributes.
“You know when Bale started to move, you just couldn’t stop him? Semenyo’s the same, where once he gets going, he’s going past people, and he’s gliding.
“I think what’s good about him is that I think he’s naturally left-footed (he’s right-footed), but he can hit with both feet, can go both ways.”
Is Antoine Semenyo for £65m a good deal?
Arsenal should only sign Antoine Semenyo if one thing happens
Semenyo is a terrific talent, and he would definitely be an exciting signing for Arsenal.
However, the Gunners already have Gabriel Martinelli, Leandro Trossard, Eberechi Eze, Bukayo Saka, Noni Madueke and Max Dowman out wide.
That is why Arsenal don’t need Semenyo, but reports have claimed that the Gunners are open to offers for Martinelli in January.
Signing the Cherries star would only make sense if Martinelli leaves in the winter window.
