David Ornstein says Arsenal ‘had a lot of headroom’ on PSR
Ornstein, speaking on The Athletic FC podcast, said the overall feeling around Arsenal’s financial situation is that they’re well placed to handle the Eze deal.
Ornstein said Arsenal’s PSR situation is fine and, though some manoeuvring will be needed for their UEFA FFP situation, there aren’t any major causes for concern.
“Arsenal had a lot of headroom on Premier League PSR,” said Ornstein. “So that’s one thing in their favour.
“They did not have a lot of headroom on UEFA’s FFP, Financial Fair Play rules. They are tight on that. And so, some manoeuvring will need to be done.
“But right now, I’m not getting any sense that they’re in a panicked situation.”
