Arsene Wenger spent over two decades as the manager of Arsenal.
The legendary Frenchman managed over 100 players from different eras, and he had his ways to get the best out of each one of them.
When Wenger first arrived, he had big names like David Seaman and Tony Adams in his squad, and they were his leaders.
The iconic Gunners goalkeeper has now revealed one ‘weird’ thing his old manager used to do before the start of every season.

What Arsene Wenger made Arsenal players write on a piece of paper every summer
The Arsenal team Arsene Wenger inherited was already a good one.
It already had a fantastic defensive setup along with Dennis Bergkamp and Ian Wright at the top end of the pitch.
Wenger made that team even better with the addition of incredible players like Patrick Vieira and Emmanuel Petit in his early years.
That team went on to become very successful, but before each campaign, Wenger wanted to know what trophies the players preferred winning.
He made everyone list the order on a piece of paper.
That’s according to Seaman, who said on talkSPORT: “It’s weird because, Arsene Wenger, when I was playing under Arsene Wenger, he would give us a piece of paper and he’d say to us: ‘Write in order of preference what you’d like to win.’
“All the English lads would put Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, League Cup. All the foreign players would go Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup, and League Cup. It used to be a bit like that.”
Arsenal players can fulfil Arsene Wenger’s dream this season
Wenger is the most successful manager in Arsenal’s history.
The Frenchman won three Premier League titles, seven FA Cups and seven Community Shields in what was an iconic career in North London.
The one dream Wenger and many others at Arsenal had was winning the Champions League, but that never happened during his tenure.
Mikel Arteta’s men made it into the semi-finals of the competition last season and were very unlucky not to have made it past PSG.
This season, Arsenal look stronger than ever, and they could finally go all the way in the Champions League. That would fulfil Wenger’s dream.
