A round-up of the latest Arsenal news as AC Milan target Jakub Kiwior’s agent opens up on his transfer and Declan Rice admits which player he is learning ‘so much’ from.
AC Milan target Jakub Kiwior’s agent discusses a transfer from Arsenal
Pawel Ziemonczyk, the agent of Kiwior, has revealed that Arsenal have shown zero desire to let the defender leave. Mikel Arteta signed the 23-year-old from Spezia last January but has seldom relied on him. The Pole has only started in 14 of his 24 appearances for the Gunners.
Kiwior has also only started in seven of his 16 matches totalling 707 minutes so far this term. So, Calciomercato now reports that Kiwior is pushing to leave Arsenal in January in search of regular minutes. He is also a leading target for AC Milan amid their centre-back injury crises.

AC Milan want to sign Kiwior on loan from Arsenal in January with an option to later make it a permanent transfer. But Ziemonczyk doubts Kiwior will leave Emirates Stadium in the winter sales. The Tychy native signed a contract until June 2028 to secure his transfer last January.
“Kuba is an Arsenal player,” Ziemonczyk told Kanal Sportowy. “There are no signs that they want to get rid of him, and I don’t think anything will happen in the winter window.”

Declan Rice opens up on ‘learning so much’ from Gabriel Magalhaes
England midfielder Rice has named Gabriel Magalhaes, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Gabriel Jesus and Aaron Ramsdale as the players he has grown closest to since moving to Arsenal. He has also stated that the 25-year-old hopes to have a long and trophy-laden career with Arsenal.
But it is Gabriel whom Rice also cites as an example of the Arsenal players he is learning ‘so much’ from. Despite shining from different positions and coming from ‘completely different’ backgrounds, Rice believes the Brazil centre-half is helping to take his game to another level.
“I’ve formed a lot of really good relationships here,” Rice has told the Arsenal club website. “There’s a lot of different cultures, and I’m really close with Gabriel Magalhaes – we get on so, so well – Alex Zinchenko, Gabriel Jesus and Aaron Ramsdale, too.
“I get on with everyone, I talk to everyone and it’s great to have a good relationship with so many different people in the team. I look around and I think these are the people that I want to win stuff with and have a long career with… They’ve taught me so much.
“Take me and Gabriel, for example. We’re both completely different personalities from completely different backgrounds and we play football in a different way too. But we learn so much from each other and we’ve formed a really good friendship.”

Oleksandr Zinchenko shares what made Arsenal’s Dubai trip ‘amazing’

Ukraine left-back Zinchenko has hailed Arteta for an ‘amazing’ act the Arsenal manager did during their warm-weather mini-camp in Dubai. The Gunners jetted off to the UAE for their winter break earlier this month. It came following a run of only one win in seven matches.
But Arteta also sought to use their trip as a chance for his squad, the Arsenal coaching staff and their families to bond. Zinchenko has now praised the Spaniard for the gesture, too, as Arsenal held a barbecue. The 27-year-old felt it was important to come together as a family.
“It was an amazing time there, a good refresh,” Zinchenko explained to The Athletic. “The connection between all of us went to another level.
“We had a barbecue over there with everyone so we can get to know each other much better, with the families. It’s so important. A team is like a family when you’re on and off the pitch — always together, supporting each other, pushing each other.”
