Declan Rice is backing Ethan Nwaneri to have a ‘crazy career’ at Arsenal and believes that he is an ‘unreal’ talent.

Nwaneri is currently on loan in Ligue 1 with Marseille, having left the Gunners in January for more game time.

Over the weekend, Nwaneri’s performance against PSG was slammed by the media, with things not quite going to plan for the teenager.

But despite his start to life in France, Rice remains a massive fan of the teenager and is backing him to be a huge success in the future.

Declan Rice is a huge believer in the potential of Arsenal attacker Ethan Nwaneri and says he will have a brilliant career.

Following his lack of minutes under Mikel Arteta, the 18-year-old was sent out on loan to gain more experience in France’s top division.

Given he is just 18 and wanted by one of France’s major clubs, it just proves how highly rated the teenager is around Europe.

After handing him his debut against Lens, in which he scored, De Zerbi told the media: “Nwaneri is so strong that they don’t need training.”

At some stage, Arsenal will need to replace Martin Odegaard, and there is every hope that the Hale End graduate can be the man to step up.

Arsenal will be worried by the situation involving De Zerbi as the manager is now under big pressure following the weekend’s 5-0 defeat to PSG.

According to RMC Sport, Marseille’s players are unhappy with the Italian manager’s choices and instructions.
