However, the deal isn’t quite done yet.

Arsenal did make an interesting announcement on Monday morning though as they unveiled their new away kit.

Fans seem to love the new away strip, and now, one of the Gunners’ key players has sounded their appreciation for this new design.

Declan Rice hails Arsenal’s new away kit

Speaking to Esquire, Declan Rice was asked to describe Arsenal’s new away kit using just one word.

The midfielder didn’t take long to come up with an apt description, claiming that the new kit was simply ‘beautiful’.

Rice isn’t wrong about this kit, it has all the makings of an instant classic.

Arsenal always looks great in a blue away strip, and this one could be legendary, particularly if Mikel Arteta’s side win the Premier League this season.

Declan Rice’s favourite Arsenal kit ever

Rice is a huge fan of the new Arsenal kit, but it’s not quite his favourite Arsenal strip of all-time.

Indeed, in the same interview, Rice revealed that the famous 2005/06 home kit was his favourite Arsenal attire of all-time.

“I think it was the last season at Highbury, the one where it was burgundy and it had the big O2 sign and the crest there. It was one you could associate with Thierry straight away, that one for sure,” Rice said.

Interestingly, Bukayo Saka also picked that burgundy kit as his favourite ever.

Arsenal famously reached the Champions League final that season, wearing that kit along the way, and the Gunners will be hoping to go one better this season in this new blue shirt.

The design team at Adidas has knocked it out of the park with this new design, and Rice is very happy with his new uniform.
