Midfield star Declan Rice sent a message to Arsenal fans after the Gunners’ 2-1 win over Wolves on Saturday.
Declan Rice was once again in fine form for Arsenal against Wolves. After the match, Mikel Arteta made it clear how impressed he had been by the 24-year-old’s display.
When Wolves got back into the game with a goal late on, Rice stepped up his efforts and ensured that the visitors weren’t able to really threaten David Raya’s goal again as the Gunners saw out a nervy finish in relatively comfortable fashion.
Arsenal fans will certainly be delighted with the way that Rice has settled into life in north London since his £105 million arrival in the recent summer transfer window. Rice has managed to live up to his price tag, and is already an integral member of Arteta’s side.

Having quickly become a fan favourite, Rice sent a message to the Arsenal supporters after this latest win kept the club at the top of the Premier League table. Taking to Instagram, Rice said, “Thank you for the support as always.”
Arsenal fans have an important role to play this season. In the last couple of seasons, their relationship with the club has improved drastically, as have the match-day atmospheres at the Emirates Stadium. If the Gunners are to mount a successful title push this season then they will need the fans behind them all the way. The Emirates Stadium needs to be a raucous and hostile place for opposition teams to come.
It is easy for supporters to get behind players such as Rice. He is an all-action presence in the middle of the park, who regularly catches the eye with driving runs and crunching tackles. He has also chipped in with a couple of vital goals this season. He is the kind of player who can bring a stadium to its feet.
