Arsenal among Premier League clubs looking at Alex Scott

It’s no wonder that Scott has found himself involved with the England set up and he’s currently over with Thomas Tuchel’s squad in America preparing for the World Cup.

Away from that, though, his immediate future at Bournemouth looks to be up in the air.

Indeed, according to Chelsea journalist Alex Goldberg, Scott is expected to join a Champions League club should he depart this summer.

According to Goldberg, Arsenal are a ‘definite possibility, while Manchester United and Liverpool are also big admirers of the former Bristol City man.

Scott has more or less an ever present for the Cherries last season and has starred for the England under-21s over the years as well.

With Arsenal known to be looking at signing a new midfielder, Scott’s profile very much fits the bill.

Furthermore, Mikel Arteta will likely be looking for reports from the likes of Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka from the USA on just how Scott has done with England.

If he has indeed impressed, especially with Rice, then that only further strengthens Arsenal’s case for bringing him on board.
