Arsenal fans were paying attention to more than just their club in the latest instalment of Champions League action.

The Gunners cruised to a 3-0 victory over Dinamo Zagreb at the Emirates, paving the way to automatic qualification to the round of 16.

Arsenal are in touching distance of the Champions League final 16, with one game remaining to secure their place without the need for a knockout tie.

Mikel Arteta will be delighted that his side scored three well-worked goals amid criticism of Arsenal’s attack but it remained clear that there’s still a long way to go.

Before the game, Arsenal fans left a message for Josh Kroenke regarding transfers, with supporters making it clear to Arteta who they want to see at the Emirates in the near future.

Arsenal fans urge Mikel Arteta to sign PSG winger Bradley Barcola

Away from the action at the Emirates on match day seven of the Champions League, a spectacle unfolded in Paris as Paris Saint-Germain beat Manchester City 4-2. 

The Parisians came from two goals behind to win in a dramatic comeback, with winger Bradley Barcola generating attention for his remarkable display.

Arsenal fans quickly reacted to the winger’s heroics against their Premier League title rivals, begging Arteta to one day bring the 22-year-old to North London.

“Hey Arsenal bring me Barcola now… don’t wait for the summer,” one mesmerised supporter said on X.

Comments flooded in regarding the Frenchman’s masterclass, with some fans spotting a possible opportunity to sign the forward.

“Would love Barcola at Arsenal, hoping there might be a chance now Krava has gone there,” a Gooner said, referring to Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s transfer.

“That Barcola boy at PSG is wonderful, a potential all-timer, he’s better than Martinelli and Nico Williams by far and he might available if Arsenal can convince him to join since PSG has signed Kvaratskhelia.”

“We 100% need a winger, we don’t scare any team we play & look one-dimensional, I’m going straight to PSG asking about Barcola, he’s exactly what we need,” an Arsenal fan pleaded.

Another called on Arsenal legend Thierry Henry to assist Arteta in luring Barcola to N5.

“If Thierry Henry really loves us, he has to speak to Barcola and bring him to Arsenal. Make it happen King Titi.”

Other supporters shared the opinion that Arsenal mustn’t waste any time and try and buy Barcola, who has 18 goal contributions this season for PSG.

“I’ve seen enough, Arsenal, bring me Barcola,” a fan said, as another agreed, “Barcola you’re special, Arsenal get me this boy.”

Barcola tore Manchester City apart

As far as wing play goes, Barcola presented a masterclass to Europe with his performance on the left flank against Man City.

The 22-year-old terrorised City’s back line over and over again, with his commitment to reaping havoc rewarded with two goal contributions in PSG’s win.

It’s clear why Arsenal fans are drawn to Barcola’s talent, being the profile missing in Arteta’s squad however, it’s certain that PSG were equally as charmed by their player’s performance.
