Arsenal fans are growing increasingly restless by the club’s lack of activity in the transfer market.
The Gunners are yet to add a forward to their squad, despite injuries to Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Jesus meaning options are few and far between.
Saka is out until at least March with a hamstring issue, while Jesus will be sidelined for up to nine months after sustaining an ACL injury.
Thus, Mikel Arteta is in desperate need of acquiring reinforcements, otherwise his team could fall further behind Premier League leaders Liverpool.
Josh Kroenke is attending Arsenal’s game against Dinamo Zagreb on Wednesday evening, and the club’s fanbase have utilised this opportunity to send a message to the owner’s son.

Arsenal fans produce new artwork that sends message to Josh Kroenke
The Kroenkes have grown in popularity around the Emirates Stadium since being involved in the Super League fiasco back in 2021.
However, after spending conservatively last summer and not yet adding anyone to Arteta’s ensemble this January, the heat is starting to grow on the ownership group again.
Arsenal added just Mikel Merino and Riccardo Calafiori for fees over the summer, and finished the window having only spent around £12 million in net spend, selling the likes of Emile Smith Rowe and Eddie Nketiah.
In desperate need of signings right now, the Gunners faithful have found an inventive way of urging Josh Kroenke to splash the cash.
Arsenal fans have added to Kroenke’s existing mural in N5, writing in a speech bubble, “time to splash some cash, Josh”.
The North London club’s followers will hope that this message sparks the Kroenkes into action in the transfer market.

Arsenal must spend big on a striker
While there is talk that Arsenal are reluctant to spend big this winter to ensure they don’t make a rash mid-season decision, they must add a marquee striker to Arteta’s ranks.
Kai Havertz is the club’s only senior number nine available to the Spaniard, and that simply won’t suffice for the rest of the season.
Dusan Vlahovic has been linked with a move to Arsenal, while the likes of Igor Jesus, Benjamin Sesko and Matheus Cunha are also understood to be in the reckoning.
Arteta’s side have scored seven goals fewer than Liverpool, and thus this is evidently a problem area for Arsenal.
While a developmental player who could rotate in and out of the team with Havertz would help, if the Gunners want to maintain their chances of overhauling Liverpool or winning the Champions League, it’ll have to be an established prolific goal-scorer who walks through the door at London Colney before the deadline.
