Manchester United Dwight Yorke was blown away by Jorginho’s performance for Arsenal against Liverpool on Sunday.
The Italian international was the Man of the Match for the Gunners as the north London side bested the Reds in a thrilling 3-1 match at the Emirates Stadium, closing the gap in the title race.
And Yorke was quick to point out how impressive Jorginho was for Arsenal, with the former Chelsea star enjoying what many consider his best performance to date under Mikel Arteta.

Yorke said on Premier League Productions: “You can sense that Jorginho with his experiences that comes in there, sometimes these types of performances go unstated and under the radar.
“You can see how important to have such an experienced player to come in at such a crucial time, to give you that type of football, it’s balance and persistent, in terms of his play. His decision-making, leadership quality and all of those things.
“Sometimes managers, players and fans tend to overlook. You can see what he has brought to the team, and they needed it. They needed a good performance from him, despite not playing since November as you mentioned. He still came in and gave an outstanding performance in the magnitude of this type of game. Sensational.”
