Eberechi Eze has hinted that he has a secret weapon he’s yet to show at Arsenal this season.
The Gunners sit pretty at the top of the Premier League table, although their attack hasn’t quite clicked into gear, with new signings Eze and Viktor Gyokeres still settling in.
Arsenal spent £67.5 million on Eze, so they will expect to see more from him as he acclimatises to his new surroundings.
Based on his latest comments about his prospective ‘secret weapon’, something big could be coming from the England international.

Eze was exceptional for Palace last season, netting 14 times and registering 12 assists across all competitions.
Thus far for Arsenal, the creative midfielder has scored just once, while providing two assists for his teammates. In truth, Eze has struggled somewhat, particularly in recent matches, as he looks to take on the creative burden left by the injured Martin Odegaard.
He’s still growing accustomed to his new teammates and the system that Mikel Arteta is using him in, although the positive for Gunners fans is that the player clearly has different levels he can go to.
Eze himself believes this, hinting to Stan Sports that he has a ‘secret weapon’. Asked what he believes is secretly his strongest weapon on the pitch, Eze replied by claiming that he doesn’t want to reveal it.
“I don’t know if I want to tell them,” he said.
“I don’t know if I want to tell them my secret weapon.”
What could Eberechi Eze’s secret weapon be?
By suggesting that he doesn’t want to reveal his ‘secret weapon’, Eze is indirectly hinting that he does indeed have one.
What he believes it to be is a mystery, although it’s certainly possible to speculate based on what the player generally produces.
Languid and smooth in his dribbling, Eze has tricks and various body feints as part of his repertoire that could easily be deemed secret weapons.
Meanwhile, he also has the ability to take vicious shots from the edge of the box, and he’s perhaps envisaging a specific type of finish that he’s not produced before.
Regardless of what it is, Arsenal fans will be excited to see what their maverick star has in store for them.
