Eberechi Eze sealed his dream move to Arsenal in the summer.
The England international was once a part of the Gunners’ youth setup, but he was released when he was just a teenager.
Eze has previously revealed that he cried for a week when his beloved Arsenal let him go, but he got to make a fairytale return in August. It all worked out!
The former Crystal Palace man, however, wasn’t the only player to have been released by the North Londoners. Harry Kane suffered the same fate many years ago.

Arsenal star Eberechi Eze says Harry Kane is the best player he has ever played with
Kane was a part of the Arsenal academy when he was a kid.
The Englishman trained at the Gunners’ youth setup, and his dream was to climb up the ranks and represent the senior side one day.
However, at the age of 12, his hopes were crushed. Kane even offered to become a goalkeeper just to stay at Arsenal, but he was shown the door.
That was clearly a mistake as the striker went on to become a superstar for Tottenham and is now one of the best strikers in world football at Bayern Munich.
Arsenal star Eberechi Eze, who has rubbed shoulders with Kane at international level, has named the Spurs legend as the best player he has ever played with.
“He’s just great at what he does, scoring goals,” Eze said while speaking to kids at the John Roan School in Greenwich, as per The Athletic.

Eberechi Eze’s Arsenal teammate thinks he’s on Harry Kane’s level
Eze plays with a number of incredible players at Arsenal.
Mikel Arteta has built an amazing squad over the years, one that Opta has described as favourites to win the Premier League and Champions League this season.
One of the big names in Arsenal’s squad is summer signing Viktor Gyokeres.
The Swede was incredible during his two years at Sporting CP, for whom he scored 97 goals in 102 games. He was the most prolific striker in the world at the time.
In the summer, before he joined Arsenal, Gyokeres boldly claimed that he is on the same level as Kane, Erling Haaland and Robert Lewandowski.
“I’m definitely one of them; it’s hard to classify me, but yes, I’m at the same table as them now,” he said.
