The 2025/26 Premier League champions are Arsenal.
Mikel Arteta’s project, which began all the way back in December 2019, has reached its biggest milestone yet, and he will now go down in the club’s history books as one of the heroes.
As much credit as Arteta and now Andrea Berta deserve for this title win, the man who started the current Arsenal project is Edu Gaspar.
The Brazilian seems happy for his old side now.

Edu has come under a lot of criticism since Berta joined Arsenal.
The Italian had an immediate impact at the Emirates. He extended key contracts and also signed eight new players in his first-ever transfer window.
That made Berta a hero to Arsenal fans, and many of them started criticising Edu for not doing as good a job when he was at the helm.
That is a bit harsh, as even though he made mistakes, Edu did a great job in the most difficult period of the club’s modern history.
Without the Brazilian’s contribution, Arsenal probably wouldn’t be where they are today, so he deserves a lot of praise.
After the Gunners were confirmed as champions, Edu took to Instagram to show his love for Arteta’s side.
He posted a picture of the Arsenal badge, with the text: “Congratulations. Premier League champions 2025/26.”

Edu would’ve loved to see Arsenal become Premier League champions when he was at the helm, but we’re sure he is pleased to see the project he started reach this far.
However, this is only the beginning.
Most players in Arsenal’s squad are nowhere near their prime yet. They have a number of incredible young players coming through the ranks as well.
Arsenal are now in a position where they can dominate the game for the next few years, and that must be the aim going forward.
We’re sure Arteta will make that clear to his players once the season comes to an end.
