Arsenal have won the Premier League title.

Manchester City had to beat Bournemouth on Tuesday night to take the Premier League title race to the final game of the season, but Pep Guardiola’s side could only manage a 1-1 draw.

That handed the Premier League title to Arsenal for the 14th time in their history, and every member of the squad is absolutely delighted.

However, will all of them get a medal?

Will Max Dowman and Ethan Nwaneri receive a Premier League winners’ medal?

Every member of the Arsenal squad has contributed to the Premier League title win.

The likes of David Raya, Declan Rice and William Saliba will get a lot of plaudits for the work they have done on the pitch and rightly so.

However, even those who spent time on the sidelines more often than not played their part in helping the Gunners make history.

Ethan Nwaneri and Max Dowman are two such players.

The former was in the Arsenal squad in the first half of the season and played six times in the Premier League. Dowman, on the other hand, has made five appearances in the competition so far.

Premier League rules state that every player who has played a minimum of five games will be guaranteed a winners’ medal, should their side get over the line.

Nwaneri and Dowman both check that box and will rightly be awarded medals to show that they are indeed Premier League champions.

That is incredible for the two Arsenal academy graduates.

Which signing played the biggest part in Arsenal winning the league?

Why Arsenal players who have played fewer than five games could still get a medal

Players who have played fewer than five games will be worried about not getting a Premier League winners’ medal.

However, all hope is not lost yet.

The BBC reported last year that every club will be awarded 40 winners’ medals. Those with five or more appearances to their name will automatically get one, while the manager and his coaching staff will get a few as well.

Even then, there are usually leftovers, which will then be distributed to other players at the club’s discretion.

So, we expect almost every single player to get a medal at Selhurst Park next week.
