Eli Jr Kroupi says that he has received many messages from Arsenal players following his Premier League title-winning goal.
However, the young Frenchman insists that his goal was very much for Bournemouth, and he was not thinking about the title race.
Asked whether anyone from Arsenal has contacted him, Kroupi told Stadium Astro: “Yes, I have received many messages, but I tell myself that I didn’t do this because of Arsenal – I’m doing these things for Bournemouth.”

The 19-year-old has scored against both Arsenal and City this season, so he is adamant that he had no dog in the fight between the two teams.
“I can say that I’ve scored against Arsenal and City. So it doesn’t change anything. I just wanted to help my team,” he added.
During the week, Arsenal fans asked Kroupi to join them, and the striker could not help but produce a big, beaming smile.
Kroupi has been linked with a move to Arsenal, with the teenage striker now one of the hottest commodities in the English top flight.
But Andrea Berta and the Gunners should be doing everything to push for a move for the attacker to join them during the summer transfer window.
