Ethan Nwaneri has been an Arsenal fan all his life.
The young attacking midfielder joined the Gunners when he was just eight years old. He came through the ranks at the club’s academy and just seven years later, he made his Premier League debut.
As a Gooner, Nwaneri would’ve seen all the amazing players who have donned the famous red and white, and he admired many of them too.
He has now named his dream Arsenal five-a-side team, and one of his picks caught our eye.
Ethan Nwaneri names Mesut Ozil in his dream five-a-side team at Arsenal
Naming a dream five-a-side Arsenal team is not easy at all.
The Gunners have had several iconic players over the years, while there are many cult heroes who you would want in your side too.
Some of Arsenal’s current players are strong candidates as well, and Nwaneri has named one of his teammates in his side.
The others are all from the past – three of them have even retired, while another one hung up his boots and then returned to play.
Speaking on the Premier League’s official YouTube channel, Nwaneri said: “In goal, I’d have to say Szczesny. That’s the keeper I remember the most.
“I’d say, Saliba, I’d say Sol Campbell. Mesut Ozil and I have to go Henry with the last one.”
When pressed on Ozil, Nwaneri added: “His composure and just his eye for an assist, that’s one thing I want to add more to my game, more assists. That’s something I try to take from his game.”

What people forget about Mesut Ozil at Arsenal
Ozil was one of the most gifted players of his generation.
The German’s vision was unmatched, and he produced several incredible moments for his clubs and country for several years.
However, after Mikel Arteta banished Ozil from the Arsenal side and then released him, all people remember about him are the negatives.
That’s not fair at all – people should not forget Ozil’s vision on the ball, his passing and his skill. He is among the best ever and deserves more credit than he gets.
