Five Arsenal players have now reached one personal milestone in the Premier League this season.
Arsenal now have five players who have reached double figures in terms of combined goals and assists in the Premier League this season.
Bukayo Saka is leading the way for the Gunners, as he has racked up 13 goals and 10 assists. The 22-year-old was once again in flying form as he tore Sheffield United apart in the first half on Monday evening. Whilst he was not able to get on the scoresheet himself, he did add to his tally of assists.
One player who was able to find the back of the net against the Blades was Gabriel Martinelli. The Brazilian bagged his 6th top flight goal of the campaign so far at Bramall Lane, and also chipped in with his fourth assist, as he set up Kai Havertz.
After a difficult start to his career at the Emirates Stadium, Havertz has now truly found his feet, and has 7 Premier League goals and 3 assists under his belt for the north London club. Plenty of his Arsenal teammates were quick to congratulate Havertz for his impressive display against Sheffield United.

Arsenal share attacking burden to impose maximum threat
Meanwhile, the Arsenal fans were lauding Martin Odegaard for his imperious performance in Yorkshire. The Norwegian playmaker has 6 goals and 7 assists in the Premier League this season, and opened the scoring against the Blades. In general, the Arsenal club captain was at the heart of almost everything Mikel Arteta’s side did well on Monday evening.
Rounding out this quintet of high-flying Gunners is summer signing Declan Rice, who is enjoying a career-best season so far in the final third. The 25-year-old midfielder already has 5 goals and 6 assists in the league.
As reported by Squawka, this makes Arsenal the first team in the top flight of English football this season to have five players all in double figures when it comes to goal contributions. This highlights just how well the Gunners are doing in terms of scoring goals by committee.
They are not reliant upon one or two prolific forwards to fire them to success, but rather, they spread the goals around and plenty of individuals are expected to chip in. This makes Arteta’s side harder to contain and defend against, as they pose a threat on so many different fronts.
