Former Hale End graduate gives x-rated response to Tottenham fans to show he’s still Arsenal at heart

Arsenal will be disappointed with their draw against Chelsea however, match day 11 did deliver some joy.

The Gunners took a point from Stamford Bridge in the London derby against the Blues in what was an action-packed weekend in the capital.

Prior to the match, Arsenal fans would have enjoyed what they saw from newly-promoted Ipswich Town, who were in North London to play Tottenham.

Kieran McKenna’s side hadn’t won in the Premier League all season but that all changed when Spurs welcomed the Tractor Boys to N17.

Former Arsenal youngster Harry Clarke mocks Tottenham

For the first time since 2002, Ipswich recorded a Premier League win, with Ange Postecoglou’s squad unable to contain McKenna’s side at home.

The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium filled with boos at full-time as Spurs ended week 11 in 10th place after losing 2-1, making Arsenal’s draw seem less concerning.

Sammie Szmodics and Liam Delap were responsible for the goals however, it was another figure who seemed to enjoy the three points most.

Former Hale End starlet Harry Clarke was an unused substitute for Ipswich against Spurs and made his feelings about the victory known at full-time.

A fan spotted the 23-year-old putting his middle fingers up at Spurs fans after the whistle, showing that he’s still got some Arsenal in him after his January 2023 departure.

Clarke fulfilled a lifelong dream by being a part of his boyhood club’s first Premier League victory in 22 years, with it coming against Spurs making it even better for the former Arsenal youngster.

A positive weekend for Hale End in the Premier League

Aside from Arsenal’s draw with Chelsea, it was a good week for several players formerly associated with the club.

Reiss Nelson, Emile Smith Rowe and Alex Iwobi were instrumental in Fulham’s win over Crystal Palace while fellow Hale End graduate Joe Willock was involved in Newcastle United’s win against Nottingham Forest.

Clarke wasn’t the only former Arsenal academy starlet present against Spurs, with Omari Hutchinson playing 90 minutes against the Lilywhites.

The Hale End flag is flying in the Premier League however, those still at the Emirates would have hoped for a better result for the Gunners on week 11.
