Fulham supporters are delighted with the start that new signing Emile Smith Rowe has made and are letting Arsenal fans know.

Emile Smith Rowe has hit the ground running for Fulham.

The Hale End academy graduate left Arsenal this summer in a deal worth £34 million. Whilst he was a much-loved player at the Emirates Stadium, he had fallen down the pecking order in North London and clearly wasn’t in Mikel Arteta’s plans, and needed to move on for the good of his career.

Bukayo Saka sent an emotional message to Smith Rowe after his departure, as the pair came into the Arsenal first team together and will share some great memories from their shared time at the club.

Smith Rowe will now be hoping to get his career back on track at Craven Cottage. The 24-year-old midfielder needs regular game time and will stand a great chance of establishing himself as a star for the West London club.

Former Arsenal duo Alex Iwobi and Bernd Leno welcomed Smith Rowe to his new club as he was undergoing his medical, and he has now announced his arrival in style with a goal on his non-competitive debut.

On Monday night, in a pre-season friendly against Sevilla, Smith Rowe found the back of the net for Fulham just seven minutes after being introduced as a half-time substitute.

Fulham fans gloat to Arsenal supporters over Emile Smith Rowe

Many Fulham fans now believe that they have got something of a bargain with their capture of Smith Rowe.

One Fulham supporter said: “I think we should give arsenal another 30 mill for smith Rowe they’ve been robbed.”

Another stated: “Smith rowe might actually be the best signing we have ever made if marco can make him rly good.”

One claimed: “Obviously don’t watch to get ahead of myself but Smith Rowe is the best footballer I’ve ever seen in my life.”

Another added: “Think smith Rowe needs to play centrally. What that means for pereira I have no idea tho…”

Will Arsenal regret selling Smith Rowe?

Arteta has been warned Smith Rowe could prove that the decision to let him go was a mistake.

However, the Gunners had little choice but to let him go this summer. The player was clearly keen for a fresh start, and Arsenal need to make sales in order to raise vital funds and make space for new arrivals.
