An array of Arsenal legends have made particular numbers famed in N5 with no player more synonymous with a particular shirt than Thierry Henry and his #14 jersey. The forward made the number his own after joining from Juventus in 1999 en route to a club-record 228 goals.

Another Highbury hero in Martin Keown also wore the #14 shirt before Henry claimed it but the number is one-and-one in Arsenal’s history with the Frenchman. Their #11 shirt has also adorned a flurry of Arsenal icons with Charlie George, Liam Brady and Marc Overmars a few.

Many of the current Arsenal first-team squad are also writing their own history wearing one of the club’s iconic squad numbers. Bukayo Saka has made the club’s No7 squad number his in recent seasons since graduating from Arsenal’s academy to become a first-team talisman.

So, with that in mind, Arsenal Insider looks into everything that you need to know about the Gunners’ squad number history and their kit numbers for the 2024/25 season as they stand. Highlighted below are some of the most memorable and recent players to wear each jersey.
