Mikel Arteta will now be left sweating over the fitness of Gabriel Magalhaes after the Arsenal defender suffered an injury for Brazil.
Next weekend is the North London derby, and the last thing the Gunners will want is to lose one of their most important players.
Gabriel has been one of the best defenders in the world this season; however, he could now join Arsenal’s injury list.
The Gunners are already waiting to see whether Viktor Gyokeres, Kai Havertz and Martin Odegaard will be fit, and now Gabriel is another player who’s just become a doubt.

Gabriel Magalhaes forced off injured for Brazil at the Emirates Stadium
Arsenal have been dealt a huge blow ahead of the clash against Tottenham, as Gabriel Magalhaes was forced off injured for Brazil at the Emirates Stadium.
The defender went down with what looks to be a groin injury after 64 minutes and was unable to continue.
After going down, Man United midfielder Casemiro could be seen signalling to the bench that the Arsenal star was unable to continue against Senegal.
The Brazilian had produced a solid performance until he was forced off, helping keep a strong Senegalese attack of Sadio Mane, Iliman Ndiaye, and Ismaila Sarr at bay.
The 27-year-old did walk off with the medical team, although he appeared to be in some discomfort, clutching the front of his leg and requiring some treatment.
Mikel Arteta will now need to start thinking about how he could replace the defender, with Cristhian Mosquera the most likely candidate to come in.
Piero Hincapie could make his first Premier League start against Tottenham
Another option is Piero Hincapie, who would be making his first start in the Premier League and thrown into a huge occasion.
But the Ecuadorian international is more than experienced enough to deal with such an occasion, as he proved during his time at Bayer Leverkusen.
| Stat | Total |

For Ecuador, the defender really impressed at left-back as he helped his team keep a clean sheet against Canada.
The defender won eight of his ten duels, also making three clearances, two interceptions and two recoveries.
