Gabriel Martinelli is Arsenal through and through.
The Brazilian joined the Gunners from Ituano as an 18-year-old back in 2019, and he became an instant fan favourite at the Emirates Stadium.
Over the years, Martinelli has expressed his love for Arsenal and even claimed that he would like to stay at the club until the end of his career.
That’s how much Arsenal means to him, and now, fans will love how he has subtly mocked Tottenham Hotspur manager Thomas Frank.
🤔 Use one word to summarise Gabriel Martinelli’s 2025/26 campaign… GO!
Arsenal star Gabriel Martinelli aims dig at Tottenham boss Thomas Frank
There is a running joke online that Frank is an Arsenal fan.
Even though he has been managing Tottenham, the Dane often has nice things to say about the Gunners, just like he did when he was at Brentford.
There have even been times in recent months when Frank has praised Arsenal and immediately regretted it. That has annoyed Spurs fans to no end.
However, the worst faux pas of them all was the Tottenham boss being spotted holding an Arsenal cup while on the pitch at the Vitality Stadium.

That, unsurprisingly, led to a lot of backlash from Spurs supporters, with many even calling for him to be sacked after that incident.
Now, Arsenal star Gabriel Martinelli has aimed a subtle dig at Frank.
On Instagram, the Brazilian posted plenty of photos in a carousel. Some of it was football-related, while others showed off his life outside the game.
At the very end of that carousel, in the final image, Martinelli can be seen holding an Arsenal cup at the Sobha Realty Training Centre – an identical one to the cup Frank was seen holding.
Furthermore, eagle-eyed Arsenal fans have spotted how the attacker’s background music in that post is a song titled ‘I know what you want’.
Whether that means he knows Frank wants Arsenal is for you to decide.
Be honest. Do you really think Tottenham boss Thomas Frank is secretly an Arsenal fan?
Thomas Frank may not make it to Tottenham vs Arsenal derby clash
Frank’s first competitive North London Derby was a disaster.
Eberechi Eze scored a stunning hat-trick for Arsenal as they beat Tottenham 4-1 at the Emirates Stadium all the way back in November.
Frank will want to get his revenge, and the next game between the two fierce rivals is scheduled to be played in February.
However, with the way things are going right now – Spurs are 14th in the Premier League and struggling – Frank could face the sack well before Arsenal go to their ground.
That is a shame, as most Arsenal fans have enjoyed watching Frank at Tottenham.
