Arsenal have some work to do against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.
Mikel Arteta’s men were beaten 1-0 in the semi-final first leg at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday after Ousmane Dembele scored for the visitors
PSG have a big advantage and will back themselves to get the job done at home, but Arsenal will believe that they can score at the Parc des Princes and level the game.
It is going to be a fascinating clash to watch in the French capital, and two of the sport’s biggest pundits have had their say on the second leg.
Alan Shearer and Gary Lineker predict PSG vs Arsenal second leg
PSG deserved to win the first leg, but that doesn’t mean that Arsenal were awful.
Yes, the Gunners got dominated in the first 30 minutes of the game, but Arteta figured out the problem, solved it and helped his team become the better side.
Arsenal should’ve scored a goal or two in the next 45 minutes, but Gianluigi Donnarumma saved the day for the visitors.
The second leg will be an interesting watch, and PSG will definitely go into the game as the favourites – not just because they have a 1-0 lead but also because they will be playing at home.
That is perhaps why Alan Shearer and Gary Lineker both think PSG will make it into the final and face Barcelona there.
On the Rest is Football podcast, when Shearer asked Lineker if he thinks it’s going to be a ‘PSG-Inter final’, he replied: “I think that’s what it will be, not (saying it) with any great confidence.
“I don’t think Arsenal are completely out of it, but I think it’s a tough ask for them to go there with a relatively young side and (overturn it).”
Shearer later revealed his prediction: “I think PSG will beat Arsenal and I think there will be a twist in the Inter-Barca game, but I think Barca will just edge it. So, PSG-Barca final.”

Micah Richards thinks one thing will definitely happen during Arsenal vs PSG
Lineker and Shearer put their cards on the table and predicted that PSG will get the better of Arsenal and qualify for the final of the Champions League.
Micah Richards, however, sat on the fence.
The Premier League winner, who does support Arsenal, claimed in the same podcast that he thinks the Gunners will score, take the game to extra-time and then to penalties.
Richards refused to predict who will win the shootout, but he thinks the game will definitely go to penalties in Paris.
David Raya and Donnarumma have both been heroes in shootouts in the past. It will be interesting to see who will come out on top if the game does go there in the second leg.
