Arsenal are still unbeaten in the Premier League, and after falling just short last season, they may find themselves in a title race again.
Mikel Arteta’s side led the Premier League for most of last season before being pipped by Manchester City, and at times they have not looked at their best in this campaign, but results have been fairly strong, with six victories from the first nine games.
Arsenal spent heavily in the summer, recruiting Declan Rice, Kai Havertz, David Raya and Jurrien Timber, and expectations have been raised as The Gunners also returned to the Champions League for the first time since 2017.
Former Manchester United player, and Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville has now given his verdict on whether Arsenal can win a first league title since 2004.
Gary Neville backs Arsenal to win the Premier League
Neville has now backed Arsenal to win the Premier League this season, ahead of treble-winners Man City and rivals Tottenham Hotspur, who are enjoying a new lease of life under Ange Postecoglou.
The pundit was asked who he believed would win the league on Twitter, and he claimed that Arsenal would finish top of the pile.
Can Arsenal win the Premier League?

Beating Pep Guardiola’s Man City side to the title is a tough ask, and has rarely been done since the Spaniard’s arrival in England.
However, Arsenal’s victory over Man City at the Emirates may be something of a statement win. Arsenal had never beaten City in the League since Guardiola came in, and ending the long winless streak against them could be pivotal.
Arsenal lost both fixtures against Man City last season, and beating them could see Arsenal gain more confidence when attempting to go toe to toe with them.
If Arteta’s side can return to their free-flowing best going forward, and eventually gain a positive result when facing Man City again, then they could give themselves a huge shot at the title, but they will know that keeping pace with the Champions will not be an easy task.
