Arsenal have a number of players in their squad who are capable of breaking records.

It’s really hard to name who Arsenal’s best player is – they have so many incredible footballers. Martin Odegaard is definitely one of them, while William Saliba Gabriel Magalhaes, Ben White and Declan Rice are all world-class too.

Arsenal star Saka turned 23 on Thursday.
The Englishman is still so young but he has already achieved some truly incredible things for club and country over the years.
Saka is among the best players in the world, and his numbers put him right alongside some of the biggest names English football has ever seen.
Among all the players in the history of the Premier League, Saka has the sixth-most goal contributions before turning 23.
The Arsenal number seven has scored 48 goals and provided 38 assists (86 direct contributions) in the English top flight, which is a stunning record.
The five players who were involved in more goals before they turned 23 were Cesc Fabregas (91), Cristiano Ronaldo (94), Robbie Fowler (110), Wayne Rooney (126) and Michael Owen (129).
ScoutedFTBL have described Saka and the four others on the six-man list as ‘generational talents’, and we can’t disagree with that assessment.
Why Saka is not higher on the list
The five names above Saka were all phenomenal players – two of them even won the Ballon d’Or.
There’s no shame for the Arsenal man to find himself behind them, but we think Saka would’ve been higher on the list if it weren’t for two things.
Firstly, when Saka broke into the Arsenal squad, they were in a terrible position. Unai Emery had lost control and Arteta then needed a few years to bring some stability back.
To add to that, many of Saka’s early appearances for Arsenal came as a left-back. He played a combined 50 games as a left-back and left-midfielder back in the day.
If Saka had played his whole career as a right-winger, we are convinced he would’ve contributed to more goals – perhaps even more than Ronaldo did in the Premier League before he turned 23.
