Goncalo Ramos has admitted that he found Arsenal so annoying to play against, as they were time-wasting even after 20 seconds.

Meanwhile, Arsenal’s lack of adventure was also questioned, with the North London club managing just 24 per cent possession.

Speaking about the way Arsenal played in the final, Ramos told Pedro Teixeira Da Mota: “They play that kind of game (certain teams in France). It’s horrible.

Meanwhile, Nuno Mendes also spoke about having to play against Arsenal’s time-wasting antics: “Yeah, and on top of that, they scored really early. Forget it.”

“Yeah, it was 0-0 20 seconds in, and it was like that. 20 seconds in, they had a free kick, they took a minute to shoot.”

The final just proved that Arteta’s team still have much to learn when it comes to the dark arts of the game as their tactics ended up failing.

Arsenal are bidding to win the Champions League next season as their main focus, and they will need to play much better in the final if they are to win it.
