Many players have seen their Arsenal careers either take off or plummet under the guidance of Mikel Arteta.
The Spaniard is building a title-challenging version of the squad he took over from Unai Emery, with very few surviving the transition in quality.
One constant around the Emirates has been Bukayo Saka, whose presence has remained a vital part of the project in North London.
The Hale End graduate is on course to become a club legend, having admirers all over the world for what he does for Arsenal most weeks.

Former Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin praises Bukayo Saka
Surviving the transition at the Emirates under Arteta is not for the faint hearted, with Saka achieving what so many have not, simply by being a crucial part of the manager’s plans.
One player who failed to make the cut was Hector Bellerin, who cut ties with Arsenal in 2022 to return to his boyhood club Barcelona.
Since then, the defender has played for the Catalan giants, Sporting CP and Real Betis, whom he is currently contracted to.
While Bellerin may be far from North London, the right-back’s time at Arsenal remains close to his heart, as he recently opened up about his former club to TNT Sports.
In the interview, the Spaniard made an intriguing claim about his former teammate Saka, predicting how the next few years could look for the winger.
“It’s crazy to say that Bukayo Saka might be a few years away from his prime still,” Bellerin explained.
“He’s not in his prime and he’s probably already better than 99% of players at their prime.”
The 29-year-old witnessed Saka’s rise from Hale End to the first team before he left the club, shedding light on the potential he saw from the Englishman during his time at the Emirates.
Saka continues to evolve at Arsenal
It’s been quite the journey for Saka, who is certainly showing glimpses that Bellerin’s prediction could be correct.
The winger’s quality is evolving year upon year, showing searing form already this season having contributed to 10 goals in 10 appearances, including nine in only seven appearances in the Premier League.
If the 23-year-old’s form continues, there’s nothing to suggest that the forward has reached his peak, as Saka proceeds to exceed expectations when Arsenal need him most.
In the winger’s absence, the Gunners suffered against Bournemouth, hinting at just how integral his presence is to Arteta’s title-hopeful squad.
