As per Spotrac, Saka currently earns £195,000-a-week at Arsenal, which makes him the sixth-highest-paid player at the club.

The report claims that with his new deal, the Arsenal number seven’s wages ‘could reach’ £250,000-a-week.

That is a surprise as the England international would still have two players above him on Arsenal’s wage list.

Arsenal already have five players earning £200,000-a-week or above on their wage bill, and that number will go up soon.

Saliba’s new contract will definitely add him to that group, while the report has claimed that Saka is going to be there as well.

It has further been claimed that the ‘discrepancy’ between Saka’s wages and the two players above him ‘is expected to form a key part of discussions’ in the coming weeks.
