Ethan Nwaneri has had a very difficult season at Arsenal.
The teenager is one of the best young players in world football, and he is good enough to feature in every game at most clubs in the Premier League.
However, at Arsenal, Nwaneri has barely played this term. He has started just three games, none of which have come in the league.
In recent weeks, the Hale End graduate has even been left out of the Arsenal matchday squad, which is really worrying. But how has that impacted his transfer value?
If you were in Ethan Nwaneri’s shoes right now, would you stay at Arsenal or leave on loan?
Ethan Nwaneri is still worth a fortune despite his lack of minutes at Arsenal
Ethan Nwaneri’s plans this season haven’t come to fruition.
The 18-year-old’s future was up in the air in the summer when he entered the final year of his contract at the Emirates Stadium.
Reports have claimed that Nwaneri was even close to leaving Arsenal at one point, but he was convinced to sign a new contract.
At that stage, we’re sure that the youngster would’ve hoped to play regularly, but fast forward six months, and he has featured for just 446 minutes in all competitions.

Despite that, his market value is sky high.
According to CIES Football Observatory, Nwaneri is estimated to be worth €75.6 million (£65.6m) in the first week of January 2026.
That makes him the seventh most valuable teenager in the world right now.
However, it has been reported that Chelsea are interested in signing Nwaneri, and they have shown before that they aren’t afraid to spend big money.
What’s the lowest transfer fee you would sell Arsenal star Ethan Nwaneri to Chelsea for?
What is Arsenal defender Myles Lewis-Skelly’s transfer value in 2026?
Myles Lewis-Skelly has also had a tough season at Arsenal.
The 19-year-old has played a little over twice as much as Nwaneri, but he has started just eight games in all competitions.
That is a surprise to many because Lewis-Skelly established himself as Arsenal’s first-choice left-back last season after brilliant performances against the likes of Manchester City and Real Madrid.

However, despite his lack of game time, the Hale End graduate is said to be worth a whopping €84.8 million (£73.5m).
It will be interesting to see how much of a change there will be in his value at the end of this season if he continues to spend most of his time on the bench.
