Ian Wright and Gary Neville agree on two things as they make Arsenal vs Leicester City prediction

Arsenal will be back in action in the Premier League on Saturday.

Arsenal will welcome Leicester City to the Emirates Stadium this weekend, and Mikel Arteta will be keen to see his side get back to winning ways in the top flight, having dropped two points against Manchester City last time out.

The Spanish coach was able to rest many of his key players in midweek as he named a heavily rotated starting XI for the Gunners’ EFL Cup clash with Bolton Wanderers.

None of Bukayo Saka, Kai Havertz, Gabriel Martinelli, or Riccardo Calafiori had to play the full 90 minutes in that match, and the likes of William Saliba and Thomas Partey sat it out entirely.

Having been absent with injury against Bolton, David Raya is expected to return for Arsenal against Leicester in another welcome boost for Arteta.

The manager may also be tempted to afford Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly more minutes this weekend after the Hale End academy duo dazzled against the League One outfit.

In any case, the Gunners will be heavy favourites heading into this clash.

Ian Wright and Gary Neville predict Arsenal vs Leicester City

Iconic former Arsenal striker Ian Wright was frustrated that Manchester City were able to salvage a draw against Arteta’s side on Sunday.

Wright called Erling Haaland a “coward” for the manner in which he celebrated the Cityzens’ late equaliser.

However, he is confident that no such drama will occur to Arsenal’s detriment this weekend.

Speaking on Stick to Football, he predicted a 2-0 win for the Gunners.

Likewise, Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher both agreed that Arsenal will win, going with a 3-0 scoreline.

There was a consensus that the North London club will keep a clean sheet against the Foxes. However, this task will be made all the trickier if Raya is not deemed fit to come back into the team.

What Arsenal must get right against Leicester

As they are playing a newly-promoted side, Arteta must guard against any sense of complacency setting in amongst his players heading into this fixture.

Though, due to the mentality and culture that he has nurtured within his squad, this is unlikely to be a problem in any case.

Arsenal need to be ruthless against Leicester and put them to the sword by playing on the front foot from the off.
