Arsenal will welcome Liverpool to the Emirates Stadium for a Premier League showdown on Sunday.
Mikel Arteta will be desperate to see his Arsenal side get back to winning ways in the Premier League, after they fell to their first defeat of the season against Bournemouth last time out in the competition.
It would be an early blow to the Gunners’ title-winning ambitions if they were to drop more points against the Reds. The Merseyside outfit are currently top of the table and flying high though, so the hosts are in for a stern test.
What’s more, the North London club will be without a number of key players for this match. Martin Odegaard is sidelined, William Saliba is suspended, and Bukayo Saka is an injury doubt.
Despite this, Arteta has warned Liverpool that Arsenal will be “flying” on Sunday.

Not everyone shares Arteta’s confidence that Arsenal will take Liverpool to task this weekend.
Arsenal legend Ian Wright and Manchester United icons Gary Neville and Roy Keane have now shared their predictions for how this match will turn out.
Speaking on Stick to Football, Neville previewed the fixture, declaring: “Here we go, this is the big one, the emotional one!”
Keane then asserted: “If Saka’s fit, Arsenal get a result.”
Before Wright declared: “I’m going for a draw.” Keane agreed with the ex-striker, and the pair predicted a 1-1 result.
Former England midfielder Paul Scholes, who was also on the panel, then added: “I fancy Liverpool.”
However, Neville was willing to get behind the Gunners, as he stated: “I’m going Arsenal, 2-1.”
How Arsenal can beat Liverpool
Whilst they will be without a number of important players, Arsenal still have the quality to overcome Liverpool.
However, Arteta has to be more positive with his tactics than he has in recent games. The Gunners were punished for their conservatism by Bournemouth, and were fortunate to avoid a similar fate against Shakhtar Donetsk.
Arsenal will only beat Liverpool by taking the game to them, and playing on the front foot.
On top of that, it is vital that Saka is replaced effectively, if the England star is indeed ruled out of this fixture.
