Paul Scholes has had a lot to say about Arsenal recently.
The Manchester United legend has made some bold calls about the Gunners over the years, but he has taken it up a level this season.
Scholes has aimed needless jibes at Declan Rice by claiming that players like Sandro Tonali are better than him. He has even discredited a lot of the good work Mikel Arteta has done at the club over the years.
Most recently, the Englishman had a go at Arsenal potentially becoming champions. He was made to take back his comment.
If you could make one pundit stop talking about Arsenal, who would you choose and why?
Gary Neville, Jamie Carragher or someone else?
Ian Wright hits back at Paul Scholes for his comments on Arsenal
Ian Wright is one of Arsenal’s biggest legends.
The Englishman wasn’t just an extraordinary striker for the Gunners back in the day, but he is one of the few former players who constantly defends the club today.
Wright recently defended Gabriel Martinelli after the Brazilian was targeted by the media and some pundits for his incident with Conor Bradley.
Now, the Arsenal legend has hit back at Paul Scholes.

The Manchester United icon recently claimed that if Arteta’s men won the Premier League title this season, they would be the ‘worst’ team to do it in the history of the competition.
Wright defended Arsenal and said on the Stick to Football podcast: “If we win it, we’ll win it with more than 77 (it was actually 75) points like you lot (Manchester United) won it.
“F—‘s sake, Scholesy. Is that my mate there? Reading this, (I’m thinking) that’s my mate…”
Scholes apologised and corrected himself by saying: “I meant to say the most boring team, not the worst team. Sorry.”
Wright replied: “You know what? I’ll take boring and win!”
Fill the blanks, I think Arsenal have a __% chance of winning the Premier League.
Paul Scholes cannot call Arsenal boring after what he did with Manchester United
Wright is absolutely spot on!
It is laughable to say Arsenal would be the worst team to win the Premier League, given that Manchester United previously won it after picking up 75 points from 38 games – that’s less than two points per game!
In fact, the Red Devils are the team to have won the title by accumulating the fewest points in three out of the four lowest title-winning totals in the competition’s history.
They won it with 75 points in 1996/97, 79 in 1998/99, and 80 in 2010/11.
According to Opta, Arsenal are expected to finish the season with more points than those three title-winning Manchester United sides, which means they will not be the worst side to win it, if they go on to do it.
