Ian Wright has lauded Kai Havertz after the Arsenal attacking midfielder was again the saviour for the Gunners against Brentford.
The Germany international left it late against the Bees last night at the Emirates Stadium as Havertz kept Arsenal’s winning run intact with an 86th-minute header.
With Havertz now scoring in Arsenal’s last four Premier League games, it’s safe to assume that the 24-year-old has been influential in the north London side’s sensational winning run in the English top-flight.
Ian Wright praises Arsenal’s big-game player Kai Havertz

And speaking on Match of the Day, Arsenal legend Wright highlighted just how important Havertz’s performances in big games are, with the versatile forward again turning up for the Gunners.
Havertz famously scored for Chelsea in the UEFA Champions League final against Manchester City back in 2021, and the German international has again come up clutch over the years with some big goals.
Indeed, Havertz’s performances in some of Arsenal’s most important games this season has been evident for all to see, and the German star has now rightly been praised for this trait in his game.
Wright said when detailing Havertz’s influence in big games: “Whatever you say, he does turn up in the big games, he does do the business”
Kai Havertz could define the Premier League title race

Havertz’s performances in recent weeks have been nothing short of brilliant, with the former Chelsea man looking as settled as he ever has at Arsenal with results on the pitch showing just that.
And there’s a good chance that the German international could end up defining the entire Premier League title race if Havertz can turn up in big games later this season against Manchester City.
The 24-year-old still has a lot to give for Arsenal in the final two months of the season, and Havertz will want to keep making an impact with the Gunners in the remaining fixtures of the campaign.
