Arsenal take on Manchester United in their 14th Premier League game of the season.

The Gunners have returned to form at the right time. After a dismal run prior to November’s international break, Mikel Arteta’s men are firing again.

Arsenal have won each of their last three games in all competitions. They have scored 13 goals in those fixtures and have conceded just thrice.

The game against Manchester United will be a tricky test, but Arsenal will fancy themselves against the Red Devils, especially because they have Martin Odegaard in their side.

Crazy Martin Odegaard and Bruno Fernandes stat emerges before Arsenal vs Manchester United

Odegaard is one of Arsenal’s best players.

The Norway international is among the first names on Arteta’s team sheet every week, and he is the biggest reason behind their upturn in form.

Odegaard has been incredible for Arsenal for a long time now, and his numbers in the famous red and white are absolutely fantastic.

One crazy stat has now emerged that shows he is much more efficient with the ball at his feet than his Manchester United counterpart, Bruno Fernandes.

StatMuse have revealed that Odegaard’s passing accuracy is so much superior to Fernandes’ that he will have a higher percentage even if he misplaced his next 500 passes.

The Arsenal captain’s pass accuracy throughout his career in the Premier League stands at 86.4 per cent, while Fernandes’ average is 78.6 per cent, which is significantly inferior.

It has been common knowledge for Arsenal fans, but this should convince everyone else that Odegaard is levels above Fernandes.

Martin Odegaard’s record vs Bruno Fernandes in Arsenal vs Manchester United games

Arsenal have a fantastic recent record against Manchester United.

The Gunners have lost just two of their last 11 fixtures against the Red Devils, and they will go into the game on Wednesday night as the favourites once again.

However, when Odegaard and Fernandes have gone up against each other in the Premier League, the record is closer than you would think.

The Arsenal captain has won three, drawn one and lost two against Fernandes. That is still a superior record compared to the Manchester United man, but things could even up if Arsenal are not careful on Wednesday night.

But, if Odegaard has a good game, we don’t think United will stand a chance at the Emirates.
