Jack Wilshere is still an Arsenal fan and follows the Gunners every time they play.
The Englishman spent many years at the club, first in the academy, then in the senior side and later as the coach of the U18s.
Wilshere rejected the chance to rejoin Arsenal to become their U21s boss in the summer, but he is still a Gooner and has been enjoying what his old side are doing.
However, the former Arsenal star believes one player is not playing in his best position.
Jack Wilshere thinks Mikel Arteta is using Max Dowman in the wrong position
Max Dowman is a superstar in the making at Arsenal.
The 15-year-old was officially promoted to the first-team this season, and he has made three senior appearances for the club already.
Dowman also featured for Arsenal under Mikel Arteta during their pre-season tour of Singapore and Hong Kong.
In every single one of those appearances, Dowman was deployed as a right winger, and his performances in Bukayo Saka’s position were mind-blowing.

However, Jack Wilshere, who coached Dowman when he was at Arsenal, has revealed that the youngster is a number 10 and will eventually end up there.
He said on talkSPORT: “Max is a central player as well. I know, obviously now, he’s coming off the right and he’s doing magic, and he can do that.
“We always spoke. When I made my debut, I was a central midfielder. But sometimes you have to accept that there’s a lot of quality in there, and you might have to come into the side and just work your way into it.
“So I think he will eventually end up there as well.”
Mikel Arteta’s CAM options are ridiculous
The Central Attacking Midfield (CAM) or number 10 role is one of the most important positions in football.
Arsenal have had iconic players in that position over the years, and Arteta has plenty of incredible options there as well.
Martin Odegaard is the first choice more often than not, but summer signing Eberechi Eze has impressed in that position as well.
Academy stars Dowman and Ethan Nwaneri are attacking midfielders as well, while Arteta has also used Mikel Merino in that role. To add to that, Kai Havertz and Leandro Trossard can also play just behind the striker.
Arsenal’s squad depth really is incredible, and even with Odegaard out injured, Arteta has no reason to panic.
