Arsenal supporters certainly enjoyed the Premier League title parade despite missing out on the Champions League.
The heartbreak in Budapest didn’t stop Arsenal fans from flocking to London to give their team a hero’s welcome with the Premier League trophy on Sunday.
Jamie Carragher said he actually spent quite a bit of time with the Gunners faithful over the last few days.
🤔 Which Arsenal players are missing from the UCL Team of the Season?
The former Liverpool defender, speaking on The Overlap, wanted to make a point about one thing he noticed about them.

Jamie Carragher says Arsenal fans were brilliant company
Carragher made the point on the Overlap that Arsenal fans get a bad reputation among rival supporters, but from his own experience over the last week, it’s totally unfair.
The pundit actually loved their company on the way out to the Champions League final and on the flight home.
“I should make this point actually,” Carragher explained.
“I flew out with Arsenal fans, flew back, saw them. I was there on Thursday. They were around us in the ground. They were absolutely brilliant.
“And the reason I say that is because Arsenal fans get so much stick, don’t they, for being that fan base online.
Now that you’ve all had time to reflect, why did Arsenal lose the Champions League final?
“I think we probably should all remember that there are all cranks online, isn’t there, from every set of supporters, including Arsenal and my own.
“But the Arsenal fans absolutely were brilliant with me and, you know, our team all the way through. So I should mention that.”
Hopefully, the false narrative around the fanbase will no longer be peddled after Carragher’s comments.
There’s also less ammunition for rival fans next season, as the North Londoners are the reigning Premier League champions.
Mikel Arteta’s side can no longer be labelled bottlers.
