Jarrod Bowen picks Thierry Henry over Wayne Rooney and Ruud Gullit in favourite conversation
Of the many Arsenal legends over the years, many haven’t been able to eclipse the impact of Thierry Henry at the club.
The forward was a clinical player on the left flank, consistently finding the back of the net with his trademark finishing, while offering a threat in all phases of play.
Henry led the Gunners to plenty of league titles and cup triumphs before he eventually left for Barcelona, by which point he was already viewed as one of the best in the world.
Plenty of current and former players have cited the Frenchman as a source of inspiration in their own careers, outlining his impact.
The latest of those to highlight Henry’s ability is Bowen, who claimed he is his favourite French player when talking to GOAL.
The West Ham forward was then asked to slim down his overall options, picking Henry over Manchester United icon Wayne Rooney and then Ruud Gullit.
The only player to stop Henry from winning the lot for Bowen was Lionel Messi, who has often been a key player for many current stars.
