Jens Lehmann has urged David Raya not to get sent off in the Champions League final for Arsenal 20 years ago.
The former Premier League winner is desperate for this Arsenal team to do what his side could not back in 2006 in Paris.
Speaking to Raya on Astro Stadium, Lehmann said: “Do us a favour and play 90 minutes or 95… Don’t get sent off!
“I can tell you honestly, you know, we’ve missed it 20 years ago, and if you win it now, you’re giving something back to the fans which we couldn’t.
“Maybe I didn’t deliver because I got sent off. So it would mean for us… It would mean something as well.”

“Of course, for legends like him, for all the legends that were playing there. Hopefully, we can do it for you guys, and of course, this fantastic set of fans is incredible, the way they’ve been supporting us throughout the season, pushing until the end. Thanks to them, we are champions.”
Keeping out PSG’s attack will be a seriously tough task; however, if any defence can, it is Raya and this Arsenal team.
