John Terry is delighted with what happened at Arsenal recently.
The Gunners are on top of the Premier League table, having conceded fewer goals than any other club in the division.
Mikel Arteta should be happy with where his side are, but just before the international break, they dropped points against Sunderland.
John Terry has had his say on what happened in that game.

John Terry says he’s glad Arsenal conceded twice against Sunderland
Arsenal conceded two goals in a single game for the first time this season against Sunderland.
The Gunners had only let in three goals in all competitions until that fixture – against Liverpool, Manchester City and Newcastle United.
Before the draw at the Stadium of Light, Arsenal were on track to break Chelsea’s record of conceding the fewest goals in a Premier League campaign.
Now, they will have to let in a maximum of nine goals in the next 27 games if they want to get their hands on that incredible record.

Arsenal fans all felt that the result against Sunderland was a bad one, but Terry is happy that his old rivals conceded twice.
He said on talkSPORT: “In terms of the record, in a way, I’m glad a little bit that they’ve conceded two away to Sunderland.
“Because they looked very, very strong, I have to say, in terms of their defensive record and also with how good the two centre-backs have been and Declan Rice in front of that.
“It has been pretty much impenetrable.”
Arsenal and Chelsea’s records at the same stage compared
The two goals Arsenal conceded against Sunderland were a big blow to their hopes of breaking Chelsea’s all-time Premier League record.
The two London rivals were going at a similar pace until the 10th game, but things have changed now.
| Wins | Draws | Losses | Goals scored | Goals conceded | |
| Arsenal after 11 games in 2024/25 | 8 | 2 | 1 | 16 | 3 |
| Arsenal after 11 games in 2004/05 | 8 | 2 | 1 | 20 | 5 |
Arsenal have conceded two more goals than Chelsea did in the 2004/05 season after 11 games in the Premier League.
As a result, the Blues are likely to retain their record at this stage, but the advantage the Gunners have is that they have already faced the likes of Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Newcastle United.
If Arteta’s men get through the games against Tottenham and Chelsea without conceding a goal, they could become the favourites to break the record.
